Sorry to hear you had to put Dolly down Cheap. Things like that are hard to do. Even when it’s the right thing to do.

Fitting in trim around the living room windows today.

Last night just 2 small flatheads and some gar. Dikes are starting to poke out on the mo.
    Boys are out fishing ect

Me and youngest boy just got in. Caught a load of dunks lil 1 lbers , one small flat about 2 lbs and one blue going 10 lbs or so. Wind was blowing nice. We was fishing a mid water hump with some timber 24 ft deep on the Gasconade river. Bait was worms and 3 to 8 inch live common carp. 10 blue came on a live 8 inch carp just off the edge of the hump channel side.
This was a monster I caught. Not even shure how he got on the hook. One mean lil blue let go to grow bigger.

Small wet cell over my tiny spot on this planet called Earth, but it shall pass, it always does. High today of 88 with an overnight low of 69. Humidity of 93% and some wind out of the West.

Uncontrolable coughing got me up at 12:15 AM thanks to the drug Metoprolol that I'm taking to drop my heart rate. All drugs appear to have side effects.

    Nice catch Troy.

I air fried some Salmon patties this past evening. Must say, Salmon patties fried in oil is a better option, even better, frying them in a cast iron pan is excellent. .

Checked on my Fig crop yesterday, and the first crop is swelling up real good. Best I can tell, there will be enough fer me, friends and the birds, wasp and little bitty black ants.

Steven, you must have some heavy duty fishing equipment to bring in 2 strippers, IJS.

Don't feel bad, I called Stripers strippers when I started fishing for them in 1982. Several in the Striper Club kidded me about it for years and years.

I took my truck in to get fixed this morning and the the car rental company came to pick me up. He said I could choose between a sedan or a new Mustang convertible. It was a no brainer for me.

    Be careful!!!!
When you get your pu back you may not have a priviledge to drive it.

Unload in morn. 15 miles to house. Do billing. Catch bait. Hook onto boat. I like only working two days a week.

    Later

Bill my dad would love to work two days a week now that he is retired. I think it's something to do plus a little extra income but his body is failing him so he has given up on the idea. In the words of a wise man "getting old ain't for wussies" Mac you might know him lol

Meanwhile, back on the dead end road along the shores of Lake Norman, things are moving on. Another humid day in store for us today, check this out. High of 85, overnight low of 69, humidity 90% and partly cloudy. We got a good shower about 5:30 PM yesterday.
