RAIN where are you

    I was looking on weather.com and saw that we could finally get some rain int eh next week or so. Finally a break from this heat.

    SUNDROP I think that it worked we got a record 2 inches at my house last night. A little is better than nothing i guess.

    Brent,

    I was down your way last week. Dad lives out on the end of Pamlico Beach. The cornfields all the way down were just BROWN. I felt sorry for those poor farmers. Looks like most all lost thier crop this year.:sad2:

    I was out last night on the Neuse. The strangest thing happened the river ran backward. When we first set up there was pretty good current flowing towards the ocean like gravity would have it, but by late in the night it was going just as fast back up river.

    When tidal rivers get so low, the tides effect it more. You had actually caught an incoming tide... Really screws the fish up too!
