I have been fishing for cats on Raccoon Lake the past 3 months and have real good, several in the 8#lb range. But have not landed any Flathead, need some advice on where and what bait to use.

I think the problem is that there aren't any flatheads in Raccoon Lake. They have blue cats and channel cats but I have never heard of a flathead being caught there. Pluse the DNR fishing reports list blues and channels but not flatheads. There may be a few that have found their way in from a creek but there aren't many. If you want to try fishing for flatheads try going to Cataract Lake, Eagle Creek, or White River instead.
