when archery season ends and i start shooting competion im wondering if i shuld take my quiver off to make my bow lighter or leave it on for extra weight and stability? i dont need it since i will be using a tube style quiver.

I'd leave the quiver on.. You're used to shooting it that way, why have to readjust your shooting and then put the quiver on during hunting and have to adjust again.. jmo

Id leave it on if you usually shoot with it. I shoot without my quiver on because when its on I dont shoot as accurate as I do with it off

For competition shooting I would get rid of it to eliminate any torque effect from the extra weight. Mine is used solely to carry my arrows with me. I practice with it off, and when I get to where I'm hunting it comes off as well.
