Quite possibly the dumbest question ever....

    My pull rope on my little motor is wearing out. I don't want to have to replace the stupid rope every other time I go out. What is the best rope material to use for this?

    I agree. also don't pull so hard. tune up hte motor so it starts easier. I found out the hard way.

    yea i have an old evinrude
    when i first got it i was tryin to rip that thing out there as hard as i could
    well had it tuned up and had the guy show me proper starting procedure ( i sure thought i was doin it right :) ) and he started it up without even yanking just a slight pull now its realy easy
