The only one I can help you with is the subscription. Disable the function under user cp. Also, as I'm posting this, I scrolled down and saw, just under manage attachments, a place to subscribe to the thread. Make sure it says "Do not subscribe".

I need some help. I have a few questions that maybe some of you can answer.
Why is it that every thread that I post in automatically makes me 'subscribed to that thread? How can I change that? I went to my User CP and deleted a few of them but will it keep subscribing me to each new thread?
Another question (and this is probably described well somewhere already), how do you post a link without giving the whole string: //http:www.whatever.whatever.etc ? On the old forum, you could use {url, whatever}. Can someone post a link to where the formatting functions are? Or point me in the right direction?
Is it possible to post pictures in the posts themselves or are we only allowed to post links to them? I know it is possible because the articles in the 'user information' section have pics in the article. My question is: Is it only mods that have the authority to do that?

I've got over 20 pics on rebuilding a carb I'd like to post, but to describe the proceedure and not have the picture right there would defeat the whole thing.
I thought about posting it in the old thread and let one of the mods bring it over here. I'd like it in the marine section.
