    Is jug fishing for catfish legal in Pa???? I cant find any info on it?

    two rods is right on Paul. although i was at a baitshop the other day that had jugs for sale. never saw them for sale in PA before. well your not supposed to use throw nets either but stores sell them, wal-mart has them.

    you can use throw nets only in certain lakes, and thats if ya have a permit, i have a permit for blue marsh lake and can only use the net there, but jugs are a no-no

    Ya, anyone can get a permit if you send in the money and application. I dont think your allowed to transport any bait that you catch in the net from those certain lakes either.

    No jugging, no limb lines, and not trot lines.

    2 rods per person



    PA doesn't care about catfishing, but put most of their money and resources into stocking trout so Weekend Warrior Willie can enjoy the sport of catching fish!:cool2:

    You could always set up a limb line with a big hook for turtles...I think that's legal.

    Any State that you cant buy beer in a grocery store is sure to have messed up laws about fishing.......:roll_eyes:

    Thanks guys for clearing things up for me. I agree with the weird laws in this state, some dont make any sense at all Thanks again.
