I am looking to buy two of these but I have a couple of questions first.

1. How big (diameter) of a fishing rod will the 1LD05 rod holder support?
2. Is the threaded part 3/8-16 thread?

I want to use them for bank fishing by attaching them to a sharpened length of all-thread with a coupling nut and shoving them in the ground.

1 1/2 in rod opening, and yes they are light duty 3/8

I just ordered a set of 2LD05's.

I will be using them with a sharpened 2' length of all thread with a coupling nut for bank fishing here in PA.

Some evening when I am out I will snap a couple of pics for you to use on your site if you wish.

Can you throw a decal into the box before it goes out? Pretty please?

UPS just dropped off my rod holders. Got them in 3 days. Fast!
