I just got my DK blood today, it looks like there is fibers in it like finley shreeded cotton or something, is that normal?

yes sir that's normal. that's what holds it together so it'll stay on a small treble hook. It's a good bait for eater size cats. Hope you do well.

Used to be cattail fibers. Has he changed? Has anyone found something that is readily avaliable that works anything like cattail. I have been thinking about the old Dupont fiber kpock that was used in life jackets years ago.

i am not sure what he uses ,but it stays on the hook really good. you should catch a lot of fish with it. if you don't like it send it to me. i will put it to good use.

Yep, pretty sure it's cattails. Stab a hook down in there, pull it out at an angle and go fish.:cool2:

dryer lint works pretty well if cattails aren't handy.
