I have been trying to find a boat that can handle a certain amount of weight. I went to the Sea Ark website and on some of the boat specs it will say that the Weight Cap is 705lbs and Persons Cap is 3/380lbs the persons weight is 1140lbs. So my question is,is the weight cap 705lbs just for gear and motors and stuff. So could you have the 700 lbs of gear and the 3 380lbs guys on the boat?

The maximum weight rating accounts for combined weights of all passengers, boating gear, and outboard motors.

The 705 is the total weight capacity of motor, fuel, batterys, gear and people, its 3 person with the total weight of 380. The label would probably read Persons cap 3 or 380 total

How much weight are you looking to hold? The Sea Arks can handle some weight, even if you want to load a car in one.
