Putrid Pudding

    2 lb. dead shad or other baitfish
    1 quart water
    1 quart milk, soured
    2 packets dry yeast
    8 oz. blue cheese
    1 cup flour

    On a camp stove outside, boil the dead baitfish in water for 10 minutes. Stir in the milk, yeast, and cheese. add small amounts of flour and and stir untill mixture becomes thick and stiff. Place in a 1 gallon container. cover the top with a cheesecloth and secure with rubber bands. Allow mixture to set outside for several days.

    use as a dip bait or sponge bait.
