Pull the hook thru?

    When you guys are using large circle hooks with cut bait, do you leave the point of the hook buried in the middle of the bait, or just under the skin, or pulled all the way thru the bait?

    all the way thru!!!!! looks like ya got a limit of roosters on the tailgate there!!! is that a setter up there with them?

    i try to leave all my hook tips threw the bait seems like i get a better hook up.

    All the way thru...better hook ups in my experience (which is pretty close to none...:roll_eyes: ).

    I always put my hook all the way through my bait.

    After you run the hook all the way through with plenty of point left sticking out make sure you don't have any scales stuck on your hook point, this could prevent a good hook up. :smile2:
