Pre-Tied snelled hooks, help!

    hi, I use a pre-tied 1/0 snelled baitholder hook from eagle claw some might say that the hook is to small but i havent had a problem, anywas i cant find a BIGGER pre-tied snelled hook size anywhere. can someone help??

    I second the tie your own. You can tie whatever hook to any line. Make the leader longer or shorter or whatever you want. Once you learn how to tie them you should be able to tie them in less than a minute, more like 30 seconds.

    I will happily third the suggestion you learn to tie your own. Not only is it cheaper in the long run, it gives you the flexiblity to tie hooks with the monofilaments breaking strength ranging from 2 lbs. to over 100 lbs. You can suit you fishing needs to a tee. If your fishing 20 lb on your main line, you may want your hooks to have 14 lb line... it puts you in control, not the store.

    I have snelled my own for many years now!!!
