Im taking my 11 year old son to Shriners Hopsital in Minnesota April third. He has had issues walking since he started and the local doctors havent really been able to help him. Im hoping Shriners can at the very least point us in the right direction and get my boy on the right track. He loves sports, but he can barely walk, much less run. Sometimes the kids pick on him, but that will give him a "thicker skin" for being an adult. If any of you good people have any personal dealings with the Shriners organization, Id be willing to hear what youve got to say. All I know is they have helped out 800,000 plus kids and continue to do so. I think Im more nervous about this than my son is.
