My thoughts and prayers are with Mark and his Family tonight.
Thankyou from me and the family.
The most important aspect is a 10 year old child. She is doing OK.
You hold it together when it counts.
Privately you try to run from it.
You can't outrun it.
I have some great friends and thankfully the best family a man could have.
Her health was declining but the last 2 weeks have been her best in a few years. When I left for work yesterday she was cleaning out the china cabinet. She was doing great. She wasn't going to get any better. It could only get worse.
She didn't suffer. It was quick. Better then the alternative of slow suffocation.
Me and my daughter are not alone. I have an adult step daughter that has lived with us for 5 years. My saving grace. The reason she was lead to live with us is revealed.
It is going to normalize everything rather quickly for the child.
For those of you who don't know, my 10 year old is adopted. I've had her since before she was a year old. Her first word was papa back when I was grandpa and she was sitting in my lap. By the time she was adopted and started talking I was poppi daddy or papa daddy. The biological mother is my step daughter. Kaylyn's biological father dropped dead at 41 in their living room when she was an infant.
I chose to include Kim in Kaylyn's life to the point of moving her in. To Kaylyn it's always been a mama and a mommie. She had one of each.
Now she'll have to do without mama.
We are Ok and will be Ok.
The train aint derailed here.
I'm fine, we're all fine. As I've alluded to it was expected just not this sudden.
My condolences and prayer for you and your family, Mark.
It sounds like the Lord is in this; good for you all.
