Hope everyone who reloads, checks the charges they are dropping. I'm sure I'm not the first to use this tip. You've always got a bullet laying around, but what about double checking your zero for smaller charges?

A match pellet for a 177 air gun, will scale at 7.9 grains, and one for a 22 pellet gun will scale at 14.3 grains. If ya can find an airgun shooter, they won't mind parting with one, and it's a fine way to "double check" your scales, for balance beam, or electronic. Just check their box when ya grab a pellet and write it down so ya don't forget. (Low charge check weights:)

My Lee scale is showing a BB weighing 5.2 gr.
I'll have to borrow a pellet to check scale.
The only thing on the crossman BB package is 4.5 mm.
Their website is a link page. crossman.com
daisy.com has more info, but not BB weight.
    I did send contact email.

Midway sell a nice set of scale calibrators cheap you can then check exactly what you are weighing For instance if you are weighing 54 grains you can put 54 grains of weight on your digitals and check them
