I suppose its possible that there are blues in Pottawottamie Creek since its the largest tributary to the Marais Des Cygnes River (in KS) but I would be surprised. They are more of a big river fish and the Pott's flow is rather unstable. If you want to try for blues but not in the Marais Des Cygnes then you might ant to try Big Bull Creek. When they release lots of water from Hillsdale Reservoir blues might ascend that stream-maybe. Good luck and if you find any blues in the MDC River system other than the main stem please share here. Thanks!

I've had a friend catch a 68, 46, and 35 pound blue in big bull creek during a day's fishing. Seems that during the breeding season they all migrate up
