Caught my first blue Sunday along with several channels. Fished out of Marshall Hall in 6 to 12 feet of water. Fish wanted cut bait for the most part and only hit during the peak of the incoming. Nothing big but the blue was around 6 lbs or so. Took a few home for the table and found they have been eating whole white perch. My buddy fished on Saturday for about an hour or so before the wind started to rip and had all blues and one channel.

We used a few white perch last weekend and the biggest blue of the day smacked that crap out of a live perch in 30 feet of water. Other blues would mouth the tail and strip the scales off and that would be it. They were tearing up the cut bait though...the blues had on the feedbag for sure. Going out tomorrow and will let ya know how that goes.

Plan to try in the A.M. too if the wind isn't too strong. We'll probably fish a little deeper after this cold front.
