Just seeing/ how many kids will be at the gathering at Melvern.

There has been talk that it would be nice to have some activity's for the kids to do so I thought we could have a bait catching contest for them.
    Plus a casting contest.

I plan to buy a few small prizes and a couple of trophy's and we can award like a most fish caught in a hour and biggest fish caught trophy to them.

All of them will recieve a prize for thier effort's in catching bait for us

What does everyone think about doing this.

These are our future fishermen/women and we need to make it fun for them.

Went out today and picked up some small tackle and still working on getting a couple small trophy's.

It's all about letting them just have fun.If they just want too run and play thats fine.Or if they wish to compete for fun thats fine also.Either way there will be a small prize for all the little kids.

I managed to round up 15 or 20 cane poles, and enough bobbers & hooks and stuff to rig them all. I hope the kids don't think there too old fashion.:embarassed:
Also got a few other things for prizes they should like.

Ray that is great.I hope they like can poles because i bought two at wally work myself.:smile2:

I also bought some small tackel and such so looks like we are going to have some prizes for all the kids.

I know deadred (Rick) bought a 202 outfit also.

I have a couple other little surprises fro them also.

Still thinking we will have a perch catching contest and a casting contest for them. And if we have some younger and older ones we can have two age groups to make it far for the little ones.I think there will be plenty of prizes to go around.

    Thanks Again!
