Well for 300 bucks you can't go wrong. If it doesn't pan out you can sell it for scrap metal and get your money back. That motor might need some real work tho looks to be a 50's model motor maybe early sixties. Boat and trailor looks in pretty good shape tho. The trailer alone ought to be worth almost the 300

Don't worry it's sitting in my yard as I type this:big_smile: Done washed it out got the mud outta it ,now it don't looks so bad..They say that the motor runs real good. They used it to boat in and out during our last Mississippi River flood.
Only problem I have is title for the motor.Motor came from Illinois and they don't have a title for it. Got to figure that out.they have title for boat and trailer at least.

you absolutely need a title for the outboard in MO... nice find at 300 bucks.. .looks alot like my 16' lowe.. I had to get titles for boat and outboard when i got mine last year. Just call the dmv.. they will let you know what you need to title that motor.

Yes the boat is at our house. Wasn't gonna take the chance someone else grabbing it up:roll_eyes: Haven't heard the motor run yet but the lady who had it said they used it to boat in and out during our last flood and it's suppose to run real good.

( As for what year it is Andy I have no idea as of yet. Haven't had a chance to look yet.) Get the numbers off it and go from there.Alllready know of 3 people who wants it.But they aren't getting it. This is just what I been looking for to fix up the way I want.Hopefully any way.

Well I went ahead and bought it. Found out the motor is a 1958 model !
The boat is a 1963 Quachita. Apparently they use that type in State of Louisiana a lot.Had never heard of it till I looked it up on Google Search.
And the trailer is a 1972. Had the motor running this morning and it sounds real good.
Now I can start fixing it up some the way I want. Hopefully anyway.
