recently i have been trying to find good locations to find some flatheads. i remembered on the ohio river in cincinnati, at a place called fernbank park, there is a half-sunken barge that i recall. do you guys think this would be a good spot to find some flats?

Flats love to sit on the edge of something with the current going around it. That way the bait comes to them and they can just hang out and wait for food to go by. I recommend you go to the catfish video section on this site and watch the Flathead siminar from Matt the Catman Jones . Its got lots of great pointers on flatheads and their habits.
