This is an achoring system I devised for anchoring a pontoon in water 5 to 6 ft deep. I used to use two standard anchors, 1 fore, 1 aft, with any wind blowing they eventually loosened up. With this system you will stay ALMOST dead still. It works well when tight line fishing. The holes in the top of the pole provide a better grip when pulling them out of the mud. I plugged the ends after I got tired of knocking the mud out of the pole everytime I pulled them out, and it takes some doing, if you don't knock it out everytime, eventually it'll fill the pole and come out the top. Pics should be self explanitory, if not I'll answer your questions.
