Pond fishin dip bait

    What way do you guys fish you dip worm or loop in a pond,on bottom or bobber???

    My experience with dip baits is that they work best during the hot summer months after the spawn. Also I would use a carolina rig modified with a small cork float to get the bait off of the bottom of the pond. Let me know how it works out for you. Good luck fishing.

    I'll fish it either way. If there is a lot of grass or weeds on the bottom I'll use a cork. If the bottom is fairly clear, I'll fish it on the bottom. The best way is to let the fish tell you how they want the bait presented. Your best bet is to try both and see what works best.
