poll on prefered rod holder angle for catfishing

    just wondering if anyone has any input as to what angle on rod holders, do catfisherman prefer?

    anybody!


    i like about 33* for drifting and setting up on holes!

    yep 30 to 35 is about right for me

    if im useing my clickers i like about 30 to 35 myself.if im useing circles and leaving my reels in gear i like 45 to 50 degree angle.lets my rods load up with out coming out of holder.

    Well, I for one preffer and 30* to 35* angkle for drifting and anchoring any more than that would be way to much. It makes it easier to watch my rod tips without getting a crick in my neck, LOL!!!

    I make my own bank rodholders and a 60* works for me,anything above 45* is good ,keeps me from gettin a crick in my neck.

    I use the duo driftmaster that has the 45 and 90 all in one. One is used for drifting and slinging out the other is settin' up over flatheads.

    i dont do much drifting but i can say the higher 45% angle seems to work the best since i started using circle hooks .. the higher rod tip lets the rod load and really plant the hook !

    my berkley quick release are about 35-40. on windy days i angle them down a tad so they dont catch so much.
