I am taking a poll on are there more bowhunters or gunhunters
How about both?
Bow, crossbow, muzzle loader, centerfire rifle, rimfire 22 rifle, shotgun, pistol, and hit a few with my truck:smile2:
Bow, rifle, shotgun, muzzle loader.
i shoot bow, rifle, handgun, shotgun, because it's all a blast!
I used to hunt with bow and guns but I damaged my elbow a couple years ago and now can't pull a bow so I am strictly a gun hunter now but I thoroughly enjoyed bow hunting while I was able to do so.
I own a 30-06, 3 12ga. shotguns, a 22 rimfire, 357 Colt Python, 44 Long Colt Ruger Vaquero and my trusty Hoyt Katera bow.
I love to bowhunt and have done so for 11 years. Also I love to hunt pheasants and quail with the shotgun. My pistols give me some fun to plink with. Also I try to find the time to shoot my rifles too.
I am a bowhunter by passion and have harvested deer, turkeys, bear and few exotic animals.
i use them all. if you get a good buck whether it a bow, muzzle loader, or rifle there is nothing cheap about it. it all takes work and money. one way or another. imho.
an old remington 760 pumpmaster.....30-06
i can hit a 3 in target at 40 yrds standing upwith it ... im not the greatest shot but you definatly know when you hit tanerite!!!!!!
dont own a bow:wink:
For deer I hunt with bow, gun, and muzzleloader.
Bow hunting is the only way for me. It's much more sporting, and the season is longer. (Plus big brother told me I can't play with guns anymore) !
Rifle only here for me. Its just the way I am,I honestly tried bow shooting when I was younger for about 10 yrs,I couldnt hit an elephant . I have absolutly no problem aimin a gun tho.:cool2: I also have an array of arms from revolvers to shotguns,No BP yet tho,I cant seem to find one in .45 cal I like the looks of.
Many states "allow" hunters to use a crossbow during bow season for those with injuries if ya can get a doctors note. I believe you live in one.
I do both and enjoy both equally. Bow does add more of a challenge and is more critical of doing everything right...but still sometimes everything can go wrong...but that's what makes it so fun.
I would rather bowhunt, much safer for me. For the deer not so much!!!
I do hunt rifle, shotgun, and black powder. I feel more in my element with a bow.
Strictly Bowhunting for me.
Bow and shotgun for deer. .223 for coyotes but I have bow killed 2 coyotes. Bow is my favorite. More of a challenge and the weather isn't 20 degrees. The older I get the more I hate cold weather.
All ive done is wingshooting. I do want to hunt deer and elk. I have done lots of small game .22 hunting.
I bow hunt and gun hunt but i prefer bow hunting because it is far more challenging and i like the rush of releasing that arrow on a deer.
