Ok, just got home from the plasant trip last night...oooh: I got there at 1:30 and tried to catch some bait before my brother got there with the boat. We headed out about 5:30 or so going to the agua fria. We fished along the rock bank and big cliff there and caught about 15 or so and a 2lb channel!! Unexpected surprise. We anchored up in a really good looking cove and I was stoked to go flattie fishin!!! We were ther maybe a half hour or so before my nephew borrowed my mag-lite and gave it to the fish gods. That was one bright light it was illuminating the whole back of the cove from 18 feet down!! We picked up and tried another spot for a while and my brother picked upa 4lb flattie, we waited a while longer and moved again. The last spot was it for the night. picked up a couple small chennels and then at 1:40....booom....my nephews pole went crazy. he laid into it and it laid right back into him, good fight and we boated his PB 27lbs. We were taking pics of this fish and a 5lb channel smashed a chunk of liver. Very entertaining 30 minutes or so. All in all it was a pretty good trip.
