We were thinking either Seneca or Salt Fork. What do yall think?
Both are excellent lakes. Get yourself a map and identify channels and where they double back.
hey bud, folks say good things about the two of them, i have read on here more about seneca than salt fork, if you set your mind on seneca, tappen lake is by it ,so if your going to take a trip and fish for 2 or more days seneca would give you 2 boadys of water to try. good luck to u buddy, have a good time and be safe
not to sure about lakesoooh:. i have a river close by!! but good luck to ya!! shane
Sun Screen? hahhahahahhaha
I am more into channels as I have never fished for flatty's. Apparently I am missing all of the fun.
I fish with the lady. She loves to fish so that makes me a lucky guy. But we are bank fisherman as we dont have a boat yet. Which body of water is easier to fish from the bank?
tappan, clendening, saltfork piedmont just to name a few
If you narrowed it down to Seneca or Salt fork I'm more familiar with Seneca. I know there is a decent bit of acces to the shore at Seneca on the lower end of the lake away from the dam. If you drive along route 147 you can find alot of this access and if the Channels are biting that lake has a pretty nice population of them around 1 to 4 lbs.
I am really open to anything but I have seen those two bodies of water talked about the most so I figured they were most likely the best.
prayer doesnt hurt either. i would hit tappan if in the area.
