Here is Dad's birthday present.
Chuck, That Sir, is very fine art. You are really good at that. I like to see your post. Every time I just sit and think "man, wish I could do that".
Good gravy Chuck, that is beautiful and I know your dad will treasure it.

You have a talent there ssg.
I know your dad will be proud of that.
Nice looking work there chuck
Very nice, from one that cant make a straight cut on any piece of wood.
You do good work ,Chuck. I noticed you even carried it into the back ground. That's something we seldom see.
May I ask what type of wood you used for the white feathers.
Thanks everyone that is made out of pine mostly that is some of the pieces that I got from the scrap pile. Most of the wood that I got from the scrap pile had that type of grain in it. some bigger and some tighter.
Thas some great work. Your Dad will love it.
wow thats cool lookin. heck yes he will love that im sure.
i seen a program last nite that was showing how plywood and osb board
laminated beams and stuff were made and they were showing different types of wood i seen a vase with a lid that was made from like id like to say 100 different pc.s of wood glued together and then routed out to make it a smooth vase with matching lid it had a pc of paper inside that had each pc of woods name and origin of where it was from.
i thought that was a neat idea . your use of different colors of wood made me think of that. i bet you could go on line and get sample pks or asst pkgs of various length scrap wood of different types . you
could really make some neat colorful stuff with it.
chuck gets an A+ on the eagle great job!
