Piroux

    I just started building a piroux from a blue print that I think will be great for cattin some of the local lakes. Just wanted to know if anyone, has any experiance fishing with in one ?

    I have 2 that I use very often for fishing, hunting, going down the creek, frog catching.... You can't beat 'em. You can just throw them in the back of your truck and go. Both of mine are aluminum. One was built in west monroe, LA and the other is a weldbuilt.

    i use one all the time at my uncles camp. and laidbck111 it is wider and shallower than a canoe. they make them out of wood and aluminum. they are spelled Pirogue here is a link to one http://www.unclejohns.com/boat/
