OK, now I am curious. I live about 1.5 hours north and west of Warrensburg in Parkville. Where is this Montrose Lake in relationship to Warrensburg?

Can you get a boat in there? I was talkin to a buddy of mine and he said that took a look at the lake a long time ago but he said that you could only take a small(12 foot) John boat in there maybe. Can you fish from the bank?

Matt theres a boat ramp there,i have see 20 foot bass boats there and i take my 17 ft tracker there, you just have to keep it at no wake speed, but in the winter i park and walk to the warm water channel.

    Hey Robert,

Thanks for the information on the location of the lake. I go through Clinton all the time on the way down to Bolivar. Will have to take a side trip one of these days and take a look at that fishing spot of yours.

You are right, we had one heck of a fire up here. My son was surveying about 3 or 4 blocks from there when it blew.

I have been in Nevada and am now in Arizona. I've been gone for about a week now. Will be back in Parkville on the 14th, just in time for the snow and ice.
