here are 2 fish i caught back in may in the same spot as the others. i just figured out a couple of days ago how to get my photos resized correctly so hopefully i will have some new pics soon. the big fish, the first 2 pics,is 46#'s, the smaller one was in the 30# range i suppose. i didnt weigh it cause my gripper \scales were malfunctioning.

Bad3087, if I'm thinking right you are standing in the big rocks on the Ky side of Cannelton dam. If that's where you are that's a great hole of water to catch blues. I've fished there on the bank a few times, but walking around is kind of rough. Vern

you are correct. that is below cannelton dam. hardly anyone fishes for cats right there. i suppose it is because ,as you said , its not too fun navigating those rocks. i am about half billygoat so it isnt that big a deal for me. another reason i think people dont fish there is it extremely snag infested. i use a modified 3-way rig and rarely lose my rig. i'll lose a sinker or 2 but i pour my own so its not that big a loss. havent been back over there for a few weeks. may go over sat. morning and fish the indiana side in the lock. rivers gonna be way up.

Bad3087, good luck if you go. I got out today for a little while and fished at the local power plant discharge. I managed to catch 2 cats a flattie and a channel, but it was brisk outside. Vern
