Water temp this am was 65 degrees.
    Only hitting worms.
Lite winds out of the south. And in about an hour I had 15 channel cats in the boat.
Then the batter went dead. Man that sure did take a great morning and turn it into a bad one. The 17ft War-Eagle only has one battery for the starting and trolling motor. So I had to drift and paddle for about 3/4 mile to the boat ramp. But sure was nice as I was up river and the wind was blowing me toward the ramp.
Now to get back there tomorrow and see if I can catch about 50 or so.
All of them were whole fryers. But Man I love that size to eat.

Jerry I was fishing about 12+ miles down river.
Tuesday we caught 6 better fish below the dam. And may try there again next week.

Rhinospawn Sure glad our rivers and lakes stay ice free.

Yep, the only civilized place for ice is in your drink.
