Well, I got an email that said my Pflueger 7580 spinning reel was out of stock and he didn't know when he would get anymore in....So, I'm considering either the Pflueger Medalist or the Okuma Coronado CD-90...I'm looking for a reel that will take line around the 25-30lb range.....Any suggestions????DemoMan

Both reels are good for the money. I own both and have not had and complaints on either.

I have many but like above all the Pfluguer model 66 for catfishing. I use the presidents for Bass.

Well, as much trouble I had finding what I was looking for....I stopped at the Sportsman's Whse in Wisconsin this week and bought me a 6500 Shamano Baitrunner w/8' 6" Ugly Stik lite rod....I hope I'm satisfied with it.....Thanks for the info guys....DemoMan

I recently purchased an okuma MAGDA PRO w/line-depth counter.
spooled it w/20# red cajun line and i love it drag is so smooth
casts easy wo/ backlash. <don`t have to be a rocket scientist>
to cast it.it will handle 40# line w/ ease and for under 50 bucks
it`s hard to beat for catfishing.
