just thought i'd let everyone know i have a cabin near peru nebraska right on the river with a ramp. anytime you wanna come down give me a call you can stay there and i will take you out. most the time though i use the brownville ramp if my boat is at my house and not at the cabin.
    thanks

What other gear do I need to bring? I have big rigs but not the right weights for the river. Are you still fishing the river, and is anyone catching anything? I'd like to catch a nice blue before the year is over.

but it would be worth it if I could get on the spots my old buddy captain Jim told me about. And mike puts in right next to them holes too.

I used to fish right next to the boat right there at the brownville boat ramp. Caught a few nice cats also right where they fill the boats by the elevators. Right there in good flowing water.
