well it took me 3 years to get this one. i fish gmr between tipp city and dayton. 20 pound on live blue gill. i went out friday night and hooked the fish of a liftime. and lost it . after fighting this one and fighting the one that got away. it had to go 30 or 40. there was no comparison in fight in the too. but got this one today. i have caught biggerones. but only in paylakes. and those dont count. i feel this catch is great. cause most the river by me is very shallow..... thanks for taking the time to look at my personal best .... couln't have done it with out the BOC

Mike Congrats on your new PB. That is awesome. I think that it is very admirable that you distinguish the difference between a paylake fish and a born and bred river fish. There is no comparison. Sounds like you deserved him. Way to go!!

Flatheads take persistence and patience and you have proved to have both. I am sure that there will be even bigger ones in the not so distant future!

Nice fish. All I ever caught out of there was big nasty carp. A few saugeye, and some nice smallmouth. Congrats on nice trophy fish.

Congrats on your fish. I'd hit that area again this month. They are in there for a reason. Probably feeding up for winter, or traveling thru to feed elsewhere. Either way you found something so exploit it. Good luck.
