    Hey Gang. First BOC post!

I've been checking out the site for some time and believe it to be the best on the web. What a fantastic resource!

Has anyone fished Perry at Ozawkie?

I'm looking for some locations that may be productive from the bank.

    Welcome to the BOC Jason.

You might try Rock Creek (Corp. of Eng. Park) boat ramp around the feeder or just west of the ramp.

There's a bunch of folks that agree with ya, Jason! 'Bout 30,000 last
count I heard of. Over 350 in Kansas. Sort of the off season here in
November, so you won't see as many posts as you will around April.
Just nose around the site for now and look through the Article Library.
Oh and try to get 10 posts in so you can get some of the nicer options
on line like personal messaging and larger storage space on the server.
After a year, I just decided to lay down ten bucks to get a star
membership because I was yaking at the guys and gals on line every
day. Wasn't nessecary, but I feel like I've justified my server time this
way and they make it worth your while with the contests they let ya
sign up for. It's the local gatherings I've gotten into, the BOC guys
are fun people to hang out with even though we rarely get any
serious fishing done on these outings. See ya around!

Rock creek and Old town are good choices. I've had some luck along the dam for white bass but no cats.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I did get to Perry today and fished Rock Creek and East end of dam. The wind was blowing shad to the East banks and white bass were chasing. Had some luck catching bait but no cats. Looks like its time to hit deep water.

Don't forget to make your 10 post like Michael suggested. It will open up your communication a lot more.

Have you tried Leavenworth State lake? A lot of good size eater were caught this last spring there from the bank and boat.

    Ron,
I have fished Leavenworth State Lake. You do catch an occasional cat between 4-8lbs but I think the fishing pressure there limits the bite.

    Thanks for the welcome gang.
