How do they cast? Would they be good for bank fishing on a '7 rod? And how is the lever drag, I'd like to try a lever drag.

I have only cast a GTI from a boat and they cast pretty good. I own 2 320GT2s and have used the GT2 from the bank and boat. They cast excellent from the bank and with 4-5 oz I can cast them on my 7' MH Ugly stik Tiger Rod as far as any baitcaster I've ever used. I cant give you a distance because im not good with guessing distances but I can get to the middle of the james river with it from the bank. I cast 3-10oz with it from the boat but from the bank I only use 4-8oz and I get the furthest with 5oz, 4 is alittle shorter, 6 doesnt get as far. I only use 8 if there is alot of current.

i have the 320 lever drag and it casts as good as you can do using your thumb, it doesent have cast control. the ld is a great reel for someone wanting to use the clicker in heavy current.
