Anyone know how the fishing is on that river. I hear it isn't much for kayaking when the water flow is normal except for about the last 35 miles.

Any good holes in that river? I will be camping at Pedernales State Park this New Year (we always camp at New Year). I will be using GE to spot potential locations, but, word of mouth is always helpful too since GE will not display water depths ;(

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!.

Didn't see this till way to late. How'd you do? I'm 25 min from there. Due to the really low water in the last few years all you'd have to look forward to out there is channel cats.

Better a day late than a dollar short ;) I didn't catch a thing. Saw lots of fish down below the falls but, nothing that hit the lines. We got ONE bite in a pool in the falls and that was it. We camped there for four days and never caught a thing. Oh well.
