Went bluegill fishing at the city park this morning near FlammCity ( BeeTree).

I was using my ultra light pole with 5 lb test, and crickets. After catching a few small ones near bank i started casting out into deeper water set out at about 7 feet deep caught a few bigger ones there.

About the third cast out there my cork went under hard and i set the hook i thought i was hung up, then my drag started to sing. I seen the water boil about 15 yrds out i new it was a big fish. After about a ten minute fight i got him to the bank, my arms were killing me. And i know my pole was ready to give.

It was A PB for me a 15# Flathead.

I wouldnt have thought such a big fish would go after a cricket. The hook fell out as soon as i got him in
