sorry about pic quality it was taken with my camera phone at night so it pretty much sucks.
The fish weighed 42lbs, was caught at 8:15pm in the Bosque River on homemade doughbait. In the 2 hrs leading to this fish i brought in a 30 and 35lber.

Wow, nice fish James. I love buffalo suckers, to catch and eat. I guess that's a smallmouth isn't it? World record - #82-3, Athens Lake, TX.

    What's in your doughballs?

    Yeah its a smallmouth.
    My dough balls cosist of
    2 gallons Range Cubes
    2 bottles Coors Lite
    1 can Budwiser
    Lot of garlic powder
    2 cups of flour

soak cubes in beer. if all dont dissolve then add more. I used the coors because they got hot and the bud cuz someone left that nasty thing in my frig. Then add flour till it holds together then add as much garlic as u can stand. I let mine set in ziplocks in the heater for a couple days before refriging and fishing.

    Thanks.

See my recipe at: http://www.catfish1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36205 ; this catches several kinds of fish and ALMOST no carp. Don't let the length of it scare you off, I should've made it more brief. It is a good one.
