Well I wasn't able to go to Monticello with the gang, life just wouldn't let it happen as usual. I really wanted to meet the guys too.

So instead I hit Hartwell alone around 2am and hunkered down . The temps were in the 30's...pretty chilly but at least the winds were light . First 2 hours were slow, then the #16 Blue took a bream head. Then within 30 min the #10Blue hit a bream gut pocket. Finally just after day break I was bream fishing and this #20 flathead took off with the same bream head that caught the #16 Blue with. Three bits, 3 fish landed .

I also had Bluebacks but no takers on them . Total bait used all night was one bream, LOL .

The #20 Flathead is my new Pb , last one was #15 . I normally favor the blues but I'm sure glad to see Mr.Flatty come by.

    Travelers Rest,
Jim, I called Doug a while ago myself. He said the same thing to me. He said that he was fishing with Chris (buster1395) and Patman was on the boat with Jon (Sunbird). Maybe Pat will learn ol' Bird a thing or three....LOL!!
