I figured you had all the good tips!!!:cool2::wink::smile2:....Don't you hit them frequently and carry a Frequent Pay lake Fishing Card???:smile2:
I also wish I felt good enough to go to one. Hell, I'd just be happy to feel like Bluegill fishing.....

I haven't been fishing anywhere in almost 3 months and haven't been to a pay lake since the end of April.
Crab should know more, hes been going and doing good, so has his wife and Daughter!!!:big_smile::cool2:

Most paylakes I have been to has been a crap shoot, just as any other body of water. You could show up one week with chicken breast in strawberry jello and tear em up and come the next week and not catch squat. Just the luck of the draw.

    Hey He asked,Right!!!!!
The Paylakes that most of us don't like are the ones that Take big fish out of our rivers and lakes and put them in a barrel for you to catch over and over again till they die an agonizing death. They are basicly stealing from public waters and making a profit off of us and our resources
These big fish are the ones that provide the biggest hatches in their home enviroment. If you take them out of the system (even if they are alive in catfish hell) we still lose a valuable resource and the end of a blood line. These fish will only survive for about a year in those lakes and should be left alone to procreat the species.
I have no problem with Paylakes that utilize farm raised fish only. If these lakes hold fish and advertise having fish in excess of 25lbs, these are not farm raised, they are river or lake fish sold to them buy commercial river rapers.

I would fish them again If I thought I could get my moneys worth . If anyone is fishing them around Lexington pm me and I will tellyou the ones I am talking about . Story I over heard is that he couldn't find any fish for sale . I think the gas prices hit him Last Year and didn't want to send out his trucks to get the fish . If it were just my luck but I saw 5 cats out of a multitude of anglers and I fished all 12 hours of my permit .If some one knows of a paylake in my area that they are putting fish in would appreciate it . I would rather harvest there fish . Than the wild ones that can be put back to fight again .I geuss I hate spending the extra 10 dollars . And don't feel I am getting a fair shake ! I just want everyone to know I am not against people who fish them OR the people that run a legitimate buisness . Sorry for Venting

I talked to the lady running the paylake by my house and she said the price of delivery has doubled.

All this talk really cracks me up. I am a betting man.

I am going to go ahead and predict if everyone talking about the pros/cons of pay lakes come face to face, they would all act like old friends and the subject would never be brought up!!

Let's just leave it a Personal Choice and move on.
