Picked it up yesterday and finishing the rigging today.

I had one catastrophe with the Fish Finder, "Bent Pin", new transducer will be in after the 4 day weekend :sad2:

I had the Evinrude re-programmed to burn XD-100 oil.

I have a Fold and Troll that fits into the back seat pedestal base for fishing up to 4 rods out of the back of the boat. Real nice setup so far, and portable. I will let everyone know if they are worth the money after a trial period.

Congratulation Paul, that’s a nice looking boat. I hope it lasts for a hundred years and lets you catch a lot big fish.

Thanks Guys, I have been wanting a Catfish Rig like this for a couple years now. From what I have read, and talked with the outboard experts here on the BOC, the Evinrude ETEC is the way to go.

What finally pushed me was looking at Mikes catfish rig in the Wayne County Catfish Festival.

So, where'd you mount the fuel/water seporater?

Really nice set up. You are bringing it to Ky lake.

With a rig like that, you could get Evinrude E-tec as a sponsor.

Nice boat! I was going to buy a fold & troll but a guy told me they telecast bites bad. Like if your getting a bite on one rod they all appear to be getting a bite. Let us know I'm still interested!...Abu65

Paul is it the pin that plugs into the unit? If so you should be able to straighten it out.
Nice looking rig. Be sure to post pictures of it with the rod system on it when you get it on.
Also I will be watching and seeing what you think of the motor after 6+ months. Be sure to keep extra oil in the boat. As that oil is all that will work in it. When its set up for it.

I may get one for my ft boat in a year or so. The 25 Yamaha 4-stroke is not enough motor on it.

I like the BIG decal down the side. It matches the boat really well.

    Paul,

I don't think that E-tec motor is any good at all. I'll tell you what I have a 1995 Yamaha 75 horse I'll give you and I'll take that e-tec off your hands just because I like ya. That's a great looking boat and those e-tec motor's are way cool.:cool2:

I heard he had the dealer option of Captain Mark engraved on the helm.
