A friend of mine wanted to try the crappie at Parr today...I took along some stink bait and frozen herring......I caught 7 fat boys from 4-12 lbs...anchoring on ledges.....caught a couple of the fattest channels I have seen in a long while....note to self:fish Parr more often. It was raining by the time we got back so I just threw em back and couldnt get any pics...but trust me...7 fatties and no crumbsnatchers!!

the first fish I caught was an 11.5 lb blue....after that..the only thing them minnows were doing was cat huntin....did talk to some guys who were crappie fishing and they said all they had caught were cats...

the main ramp is fine, we went down to the "upper" ramp but there were no trailers, I am guessing it was too low....

you have to be careful at the secluded upper ramp Someone broke into my truck there once by busting out the window. I don't go there anymore just be careful when you do because they got me in broad daylight and there was several trailers there when I arrived.
