Anyone near Paris Landing know the river height since the latest weather?

Looking especially for the campground area.

Would appreciate any help you could offer.

    Thanks,

    Martin

The TVA site says flow is 250,000+ cubic ft per second and kentucky lake dam is spilling until further notice. I was over at Piney campground looking around today. The water is way up and the worker at the gate said it was 8-10' above normal.

It was at 363 plus to day and expected to fall steady back to summer pool at 359.6 . like 8up said they ae spilling about 250,000 cubic feet per second. Right now there is probably so much trash in the channel it's not safe. but maybe by week end it will be back close to normal. If you don't know you can go to www.tva.com and click on resovoir (spelling) and you can find out lake levels and damn spilling.... Once the summer gets back to normal if you watch for the discharge at Kentucky Damn and it is anywhere from 48000 to 51000 cubic ft per second ,drop everything and head to the river, Once the river starts to fall all the trash will go to the fields. when it is rising the trash will be in the middle of the channel. Sometimes you need to check discharge at Pickwick and at Kentucky Damn and subtract the difference to get a real feel for the current

If they pulling to much current to fish the main channel I bet there are some big old whites back out in the fields, water that is normally 2 to 6 feet deep
