Many years ago while still fishing the banks of the Skunk river I watched a guy launch a small jon boat which he had powered with a paddle wheel.
It used a small briggs motor.
I've been tempted recently to try building one myself. Probably never will.
Anyway I'm thinking it would run in very little water which would make it useful here in the late summer and fall seasons.
    Comments or ideas welcome
    thanks
