Went to Ozzfest last night with a buddy of mine. Not into alot of that new age junk. Some of the bands that I seen were StaticX, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and Ozzy.

Ozzy was the only one that I really went to see as I know alot of his songs. He played some old school Black Sabbath and it was an awesome show. He is definatly showing his age and after every song he said, "I love you". lol

But, the show was great and nothing like "War Pigs" live.

Ozzy rules! Glad ya got to go. I had to work.:sad2: I know, poor excuse, but I rarely get to go to a concert anymore. I went to Ozzfest '96, '97, and '99. They were all AWESOME, with the exception that every year there were more hip-hop type metal wannabes. Seen Sabbath twice, so I can die knowing that I have fulfilled at least one of my dreams.:smile2: So, was it free, or did ya have to buy tickets? It was free here this year!!! Leaves a little more cash for those $8 beers, and $30 T-shirts. lol.

I went to Ozzfest a few years back in Akron and it was great except for the heat!!! It was in Akron U's. football stadium and it was trashed by the time it was all over. There has not been another concert in that stadium since then..

I took my daughter to the Warped tour in Cleveland last Thursday it was great and the Mosh pit's were crazy:eek:oooh:... You get in any pits at Ozzzfest Tea??LOL

Yes, that definatly made the show that much better. LOL

StaticX put on a great show. The Japanese guitar player was pretty good also. Not really my cup of tea but a great show. Just dont listen to their music much.

Yes, the show was free. That was the best part. Helped with the $20 parking, $8 beers, $5 freak side show, and $30 shirt. But, there was a Jagermister booth there and they were selling autographed CD's from some guy from Hatebreed for $1.

No pics, was a great time though.

This is the last year for Germain Ampitheater, which sucks. The community has finially complained enough that they are shutting it down.

I like Static X, I'm listening to Wisconsin Death Trip now.

It's too bad Lamb of God doesn't do The Wall Of Death anymore. I saw some videos of it and it looked wild.

Ozzy doesn't preach like Tool. He just gets up there, and rocks out. He says "Come on! I can't ******* hear you!", and "I love you all!", and that's about all. LMAO.
