I changed my impeller roughly about 6hrs ago because of overtemp horn going off. I was running down a coastal river full of grass and debris and after about 3 miles the overtemp horn went off again. I'm starting to think that I changed that impeller for nothing now, I mean there was some wear in it but nothing extreme. I was running in the same river, so do you guys think that it was the debris in the river this whole time, or do you think maybe there is just another problem besides the impeller. After I changed the impeller the first place I took the boat was in a fairly clean river and I ran the boat at 4500 for about 9 miles and it had no signs of overheating.

It could be picking up derbish and holding it against the intake. It is never for mothing when changing a impeller.

I figured it was probably holding something against the intake. I wont know for sure until I run in clean water.
