While out fishing for flatties on lake Blackshear one of my poles doubled over. I grabbed it and gave her a good yank. It didn't move so I figure I was hung. Its rough getting hung up with 80# power pro so I laid the pole down and went about my buisness when the pole bent over again. This time I pulled as hard as I could and slowly and there was a little give this time. The drag couldn't hold so I had to push down on the line with my fingers. Took about 30 minutes to get it to the dock and the whole time i thought I had a new state record flattie but to my supprise it was the biggest snapper I have ever seen. It took 3 people to get it out of the water and on the bank. Needless to say he was pissed. We were using wooden paddles trying to keep his head out of the way so we could get the hook out of his leg. Didn't take but one bite to snap one of the paddles in half. After an hour of fighting with him we managed to get him back to the water to be set free.
