In the mail yesterday was with a free sample of Outers Scent Off gun oil in a little tube about the size of a super glue tube. I think I'll be ordering a full size bottle of this oil. It's a fully synthetic oil that is totally odorless. It's everybit as effective as any of the Outers gun oils. It is supposedly impervious to very cold and very hot temps. All I know is you cannot smell anything and it lays nice on metal and it's slick. Much better than the dead-down-wind odorless oil I bought last year.
Never even heard of the odorless oil...I mean everything we do as hunters revolves around scent control and/or wind direction...ill be looking in to that one. Thanks for the info!
I used it all last season and used it to clean my guns for storage and it is still holding up well. I worked the bolts on the guns day before yesterday and they are still as smooth as the day I oiled them (end of last November)
